Our Vision
At Pye Green, we support our children to always stay true to themselves, fully believing that all children are unique and will shine in their own way. Working as a team, we develop well rounded children who retain their unique sense of identity whilst being valued, active members of both their school and wider community.
Our inclusive school ethos ensures that acceptance and tolerance are embedded values modelled daily by everyone. By always encouraging children to be the best version of themselves, we give them the head start they deserve for their lifelong journey. By creating confident, healthy children who believe in their own abilities but know when to ask for support or admit mistakes, we develop children with the skills to embrace challenges and overcome life’s inevitable difficulties.
Our primary belief is that ensuring children feel safe and secure in their environment leads them to becoming part of the community and thriving on the sense of belonging it creates. Having a voice is key for our children and throughout their time with us, we equip them with the necessary skills to be able to share their thoughts and opinions respectfully.
Also central to our whole school ethos is that confident children believe in themselves and will become successful in their chosen career paths. We promote aspiration and ambition and develop ecological awareness, tailoring our curriculum and enrichment activities to meet the needs of all learners. Children are naturally curious and creative, and we nurture this throughout school both indoors and out. By allowing our children to be active participants in their own learning and ‘find out for themselves’, we create informed individuals far more likely to experience greater success in the future.
